These are glass so be careful.
Would RecommendThese are real glass bulbs. A couple broke as we were working on putting the string up. I'd advise to work on positioning the poles and string without the bulbs in. Only put them in when finished and ready to light. They are very nice looking and add a lovely atmosphere to our backyard/firepit area.

We bought the original lights at Lowe's and had to wait a year to obtain replacement bulbs and thanks to a young man that was thinking like me, he found a torn box of a smaller string of lights with a good supply of "replacement lights" that he discounted.

Cheap fuses blow constantly.
Would Not RecommendThe fuses that are in the plug end of the string will blow out at almost nothing. As another reviewer stated, they will go even after you change or adjust one of the bulbs. I even checked the outlet I was using to see if there was a problem, and sure enough, there wasn't anything wrong on that end. I connected two strings together and both fuses blew immediately, then I changed them with the spare that is included, and one after another, the fuses blew again as I tried to adjust non-working ligh...
