Once you get everything placed properly and tightened down they stay put even if you are doing careful landscape maintenance around them. If you encounter intermittent over time, either check for tightness or disassemble and clean both sides of the prick pins with wire brush or Q-Tip and alcohol and reassemble. GOOD FOR 16 GA wire only:
Would Not RecommendWorks fine for 16 GA wire (Main Line) but not for the smaller wire that comes with the electric lamps, that wire must be 18 or 20 GA wire. I like the connector just fine it's one of the better connectors on the market.

Would Not RecommendThey try and make this connector cute by letting you screw the connection - well it is poorly designed and a very inefficient connector. Don't buy it - they are expensive and they don't work well.
