I appreciate the grip pads' constrained range of rotation: enough to clamp non-parallel surfaces but not enough to flip over, needing manual repositioning. Would RecommendThese clamps were a good deal for less than $1 per clamp. I use these types of clamps in my shop all the time. Besides just clamping materials like wood together, I find these clamps handy for all types of jobs. I use one to hold up an outfeed table on a machine, when it's not in use, so it doesn't take up as much space. I also use one of these clamps to hold open a hand air nozzle, to drain down my compressor tank, so I can then drain out any accumulated water in the bottom (see pics).
