Would RecommendThe Competition pellet is a really good general purpose option. It’s pretty good at most things. While I have 5-6 options in my garage, most likely than not you’ll find Competition in my grill’s hopper. Tip - look at the back of each bag and you’ll see what pellets are recommended for each item you smoke. Second tip - frozen pizza, pizza pan, Competition pellets; you’ll thank me later.

Hickory Pellets
Would RecommendFirst use with burgers turned out with wonderful hickory flavor. Be mindful that the more the vents are open the more pellet debris will end up on your food. Not sure that is all that healthy.
