Would Not RecommendWe got a Larson storm door with the petsafe dog door. If there is a slight breeze, the flap opens. It was an absolute waste of money. I don’t know why such an expensive door would have such a poorly made dog door in it.

Door is great, instructions not so much
Would RecommendI have to admit that I'm not a great DIYer. I really need good instructions! The instructions that came with the replacement door didn't resemble the door set up that's on my porch, so it took me over an hour to figure out how to replace it. I finally did, and it's worth it, but I do wish it was easier.

Would RecommendMy husband installed ours about 3 years ago. I have 2 large (60 pounds each) Shetland sheepdogs. They fly through that flap a hundred times a day. If you know Shellie’s, you know the slightest or imagined noise gets them running. I am just now thinking of a replacement flap because of one very small ( about 2 inches) break on the one bottom side. This has worked great for me.

Would RecommendAwesome Flaps. My dogs have killed 2 of them already, but they last a good long time with regular use, I have 4 dogs, that's 4 x's the destructive power and it still holds up really well.

Would RecommendVery quick and easy install. Finding out the number of screws determined the size made ordering a breeze! Only problem was because it was a different color, my dog thought we had put the protective cover up and he was afraid to use the door HAHA!!

Would RecommendPurchased the large PetSafe door four years ago. It's great for our Labradors and gives them the freedom they need. I removed the door for a few months and left it in the heat so now I'm replacing the flap so I can reinstall the door. Thank you for selling the replacement flap! The door works perfectly with screen doors when access to the dog door isn't needed.
