Good grass seed
Would RecommendThis grass seed was great for covering small areas in my lawn. You have to water it thoroughly every day. I saw new seedlings in 12 days time.

Disappointing results
Would Not RecommendApplied as directed and watered as directed and gave it a couple weeks and there's barely any grass poking through. I used it on about seven or eight random small areas and only one has any real appreciable grass growth. The majority of the spots are just leftover "mulch" which is basically just wood pellet papier-mâché.

Would Not RecommendMore filler than I thought there would be. I understand its a one step style package, but it was not really what I needed in my case.
Pennington works great. Keep it watered everyday and you will have grass coming up in just a few days.

Works great when it works
We bought our home last year and the whole yard was done with fescue sod. After the first year we notice a lot of heavy patches dying and splits or seams where the sod was laid that looked awful. I know that It has potential to work really well. I've bought about 8 35lb bags so far and prepared the spots the same through out.
