Great Battery Powered Saw

You’ll never get the power out of a battery powered saw that you will from a corded one. That being said, this hasn’t been an issue for me. This saw allows for excellent mobility while still getting the job done.

Battery does last

So I bought this knowing that it wouldn’t last that long since it is a jig saw, but I didn’t expect only 5-10 minutes. I expected more like 30. If you are ok with that then buy it. If not I would get a corded one.

Porter Cable Cordless Jigsaw

Bought this jigsaw for a few small projects around the house. This is not being used for professional jobs. As a DIY guy, I love this saw. The cuts are very accurate, and the tool is very easy to handle. As with most tools, the blade it came with wasn't amazing, so just go buy a pack of blades from your favorite brand. The T-Lock blade system makes putting in new blades a snap, and I don't have to worry about them coming loose. I definitely recommend this jigsaw.

Great add on

Bought this to cut out sections of a subfloor that needed repaired. I already have multiple PC 20V Max tools, so the price for the tool only was worth it. This thing is very well balanced and easy to use. I used a Bosch blade on it and it performed flawlessly. I do wish there was an LED light on it, but its not a deal breaker. Buy this saw, you won't regret it.

Nice Jigsaw Does the Job!!

I purchased this to fulfill my battery of tools all porter cable 20v series. Nice little saw that handled 3/4” Oak plywood like butter. I wish it came with a built in light like the drill. But have a led light that I purchased from harbor freight that did the trick. I would recommend this product. I am a avid woodworker.

Skeptical at first, but won't go back to cords!

I was a bit skeptical of purchasing a cordless Jigsaw but now, I won't go back to a corded saw. It had plenty of power and cut smoothly. I gave this saw 5 stars because of the performance and ergonomics as is. I would like to see an improved design, with cut guides on the deck and perhaps add a light. I would definitely recommend this saw and am quite happy that I purchased it.

Jigsaw

Nice tool which is easy to use, well balanced and rugged. Completes my 20 volt portable Porter Cable tool set.

Lots of power

I wanted a cordless jig saw at a reasonable price. Black and Decker was cheaper but the reviews were not as good as the Porter Cable. Easy to operate and changing blades without a tool is definitely a plus.

For everyone who complains it doesn't come with a battery I will say this. I love that all these companies are selling their products "bare". if this were to come with a battery and charger it would be well over $100. I have almost every one of PC tools for the 20v series and I have so many batteries that when something new comes out all I need to do is buy the bare tool. If the battery is this big of an issue I suggest buying all of them at once in a kit and an extra 4amp battery. The grinder a...
