Disappointed
Although the rocker seems to be made with great quality it is unfortunately very uncomfortable. The seat is too short or shallow and the back is too straight making it not a seat you’d ever get comfortable in to relax as I’d hoped.

Shame on Lowe’s for failing to honor a commitment.
Would RecommendI purchased from Lowe’s at a higher price than Polywood because I paid for assembly at high price. Lo and behold they cancelled the appointment three times with very little advance notice. After three times they offered an appointment on a Sunday at 10 am with someone fron Columbia , which is three hours from my home. I finally cancelled the entire high priced assembly.

“Sit up straight”
Looks good but the back is too upright for comfort. Not great for sitting in for more than 5 minutes. Rocks well and looks great on my porch.

5 Rocking Chairs
We are outside people and I was wanting something that would last more than one summer. I am hoping this is it! Only had the rocking chairs a couple weeks. But, they were easy to put together and very nostalgic to sit and rock in by the fire pit. Hoping the stand the test of time I am definitely impressed with the quality. Keep ya updated!

I purchased the Presidential Rocking Chair for my wife for mothers' day. She did not find Adirondack chair comfortable. She is very pleased with the rocker. It gives her head support so that she can sit and read. Chair was very easy to construct, and it is of excellent quality. The instructions left something to be desired. My copy was faded and confusing at parts.

Good chairs but have some issues
I bought a pair of the presidential rocking chairs at the recommendation of a friend. They seem sturdy, like they will last a long time and have good stainless hardware. My issues were that the fasteners were so tight by the last 10-15% that they almost stripped out trying to get them all the way seated. I was constantly scared of the hex head rounding over in the fastener head, which is did many times, even with the tool completely bottomed out in the fastener head. Additionally, the lumber ...

Rocking in the summer
It is everything I wanted in a rocking chair and more. Comfortable, sturdy and very attractive. It is solid and rocks without any effort. Love it and the blue is a great color.
