Ortho is less expensive and much much more effective at actually killing fire ants quickly. I would not recommend this product. I WILL NEVER BUY THIS JUNK AGAIN AND TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO WASTE THEIR MONEY! COMPLETELY AWFUL AND WORTHLESS!

Disappointed
Would Not RecommendI bought two of the large bags and applied them per instructions, but after a week half of the mounds are still active. I've used this product in the past with good results, but I may have to switch brands after this last treatment. Not sure what happened, but I can't afford to have fire anymore with my dogs in the yard.

Doesn't kill ants, just make them relocate.
Would Not RecommendSorry folks, but this product did not kill the ants in my yard. It only made them relocate a few feet from the original mound. After applying a second time, they relocated again. This happened over and over all over my yard. I'm glad to see the last empty bag, so now I can buy something different. BTW, I called customer service, they were not interested in hearing my story. They basically said, "sorry".
