Adequate but there are better sprinklers.
The distance adjustment is adequate. But the overlapping on sprinklers is required because the sprinkler does not water close to itself. The thing that's not available is the tool that holds the valve open when you change volume plugs. I had to come up with a tool to make this easier. Channel locks with tape on the jaws.
