Good Timer

I had this type of Orbit Timer before so I stayed with it because it is easy to set. I ordered this online to pick up and the one they sold me looked used and returned since it was scratched on the outside and a little on the inside. I didn't feel like returning it since I needed it right away.

Up and running in no time

This product arrived at my door, was easy to install and is up and running without issue. Very intuitive, which is helpful because there is only an installation manual,not instructuions on running (for that online links are provided). The one thing it lacked was control wire from the timer to the valves. Thankfully, my old control wire was still in place and easily connected without another trip to the hardware store.

Very Good and Easy Timer.

I needed a quick replacement for a timer that died during the heat wave and I didn't want to spend a fortune, so I tried this timer. I like the design and simplicity of programming this timer. The weather proof container is very nice. It was very easy to program and within minutes I had all four of my irrigation zone ready to watering.

Honestly Shocked at the lack of technology

For $50 for a basic solenoid switcher, I expected much more than 1970's level of circuitry. Not only can you not set a custom daily/weekly program on a per-station basis, but you can't even run stations simultaneously unless you do a manual override, even if you utilize the 3 programs strategically as a workaround (it will just skip over intersecting programs) Why? I expect it was laziness on the electronics engineering side? I would have been better off coding an arduino with a RTC and paying ...

The installation & set up was very straight forward, the help line answered my question about the flashing display in a timely manner. I would recommend this 4 station timer for those reasons.

Simple to install, logical to program, no-frills just a good reliable timer.
