Would RecommendI bought 8 of these back in April when puting my system together. Within a month I had to replace two of the solenoids. After replacement they seem to work fine again. Word of advice, buy extras.

Would RecommendNow is very durable and dependable especially with water that contains a lot of sand. The rain Bird I bought previously with constantly gets stuck open position but this one does not get stuck open and it's far better designed.

Would RecommendPurchased to repair a neighbors sprinkler system that had 9 zones. Long story short this valve had played out and needed to be replaced , based on what I had read up on the computer for DIY. This Valve worked Perfect ! Great for Science Experiment
I used the solenoid valve in this product in a school experiment. It allowed me to release the air from a pressurized PVC pipe. I coupled that with a psi pressure gauge and I have no complaints.
