Bug off!!

If you dknt want to smell like bug spray then use these!! Works great while sitting outside! I have these all summer long

Mindless marketing

Why would they put the OFF brand on a candle that has no bug repellent's. They should've just put SC Johnson on it. It's like putting "Hershey's" on a snack product, and then opening up to find an apple. Mindless We bought this for a party and now I need to return it because it's going to provide no protection at all.

OFF doesn't repel mosquitoes???????

Why on earth would I buy an OFF product if it doesn't repel mosquitoes??????? Wish I could give negative stars. Shame on you.

Not a mosquito repellent do not buy for that purpose

Cintronella "scent" states VERY clearly it is not a mosquito repellent. Do not buy. Would give a zero. Returning to store tomorrow.

I would not buy this again, ever.

The wick won't stay lit. Bought them for a party and all the candles went out. I'm now scraping all the wax out and trying to restart...they go out. I'd like a refund, please!

Another sad story

One wick was accessible and functional. The others, no matter how hard we tried, could not be cleared of the wax enough to light. Not one time.

Complete and utter garbage

Used once. Once I blew the candle out and the wax was soft, two wicks disappeared. Candle won't stay lit with one wick. Tried to find the other, and made a mess

Would rate 0 if I could

Buries the wick. Every candle on the market has a wick running the length of the container/wax pour. Off! places their wicks just below the wax surface, so if you burn for too long or leave outside in the heat, the entire wick sinks to the bottom and is no longer usually. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER TRYING THIS PRODUCT!!!!

just like most of the other reviews... Don't Buy!

These were on display right by the register and bought off the cuff only to learn that they didn't repel mosquitoes.. which was fine; I was going to burn it outside either way. until I realize that this won't even burn! it kept going out... there's too much wax and too tiny of a wick for it to stay burning. really sad, actually...

A waste of money

I used this daily for less than a week and all the wax has gone up and around the wicks. I can't even find them and I have more than half the wax left which now makes it useless.

Does not work

Very disappointed SC Johnson. I should have read reviews and packaging. Need to dc this item.

Do not recommend

It works if you can keep the wicks burning. The wax suffocates the burning wicks.

i am a huge

i am a huge fan of this product and have used it will continue to it on myself and recommended it to my friends and family.

These are decent but

These are decent but not totally effective against mosquitoes, I can't say I love the scent. It is an alternative to getting chewed up. I don't remember exactly what I paid for these but they were fairly inexpensive. They do last pretty long . As long as mosquitoes exist I will probably have to buy these!

Misleading

When most people see the OFF! brand, they usually assume the product keeps insects OFF or away from the area. HOWEVER, the packaging of the candle indicates the candle will NOT repel mosquitoes. Shame on me for not reading the package, but shame on the Johnson Company for marketing this product alongside of other repellents.

I am obsessed with

I am obsessed with citronella candles. First off bugs love me for some reason and these actually keep them away!! Also I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I love the smell of these. I would use a citronella candle in my home to smell good if it was socially acceptable.

I was really surprised

I was really surprised that these actually worked. There were still mosquitoes but not as many.

These aren't too shabby,

These aren't too shabby, they work to a degree. You have to sit close enough to them but at the same time the more you use them the harder they are to light. They smell nice but need to work in combination with someone else for the best mosquito relief.
