Plumbing access panel

I used this panel for access to a water shut off valve for an outdoor spigot. It does the job and looks good for now but I have reservations about long term durability especially if it was used to access something kore frequently than twice a year.

Access panel

These access panels are easily installed and inexpensive. A few minutes to prep for installation, certainly is worth more than all the trouble to remove wall materials and search for plumbing problems. I installed two Oatey access panels in a wall behind a walk in shower. A little extra work to install but provides “peace of mind” for later on with plumbing.

Clean, neat with correct measurement for our need.

We bought this to cover old vent opening in house we rent. This was an ugly, troublesome eye sore. I suddenly remembered using one of these for access site to get to water pipes. I thought it would cover this eye sore and work well for this as well AND it did!!

This panel is easy to install and defiantly looks better than a whole in the wall!

pop cover trace inside and cut out. perfect fix dont even need glue.

This panel works as intended. Overall looks very clean. Could cling to drywall a little better, but overall very good.

Easy to close a hole

Used this to patch into a PEX line inside a closet. Performs great to penetrate a drywall surface without having to patch the gypsum back.

needed to be able to access ac condensate connection on new split unit this was exactly what was required nice product

Works like a charm. Previous owner blocked off a water shut off. Not anymore....

Great access panel

This is a great access panel that does what it needs to do. I have two in my basement ceiling...one for a discharge pipe cleanout and another to access the on/off valve to my hose bibs. The cover panel pops in and out easily enough. This is not a "daily use" access panel but once or twice a year will suit you well. I have mine held in place with latex caulking and have had no problems. You can use screws, if you choose. If you break it, pry it loose and replace it with another one.
