Would RecommendThis product is perfect for emergency repairs to your home water line. Even if it is raining, this works great! No primer required for the 1” line I repaired but I used primer anyway. The only problem is I can’t figure out how to seal the can back up so I can use it again on the next leak, it always dries up, solidifies, inside the can by the time I need it again. Worked great for patching pvc sprinkler line.
Would RecommendI used this to patch a hole that sprouted in my sprinkler system’s 1” pvc. Puncture was from a shallow stretch that got tickled by a core aerator. I used a snap on T as the patch material. Worked great for my application and I had the repair under ground in no time.
Great glue, I've never had it fail on me.
Would RecommendRain or Shine is the only glue I use, no need for primer or for the pipe to be completely dry. The only down side is that it does dry up in the can faster than other glues do. Not a big deal if you're using it frequently but if you only need a little then I recommend buying the small can since it doesn't have a long shelf life once opened.

Would RecommendI haven’t opened this can yet but have used it in the past with much success. I it’s good to use it when you’re home a small amount of water to deal with. I wouldn’t recommend using it with flowing water. Oh, and try not to use excessive amounts because it will clump up in the pipe and stop up your fixtures

Make sure you have good ventilation
Would RecommendI don't think this will work under water but it sure helps when you're having trouble keeping a repair dry. I was fixing a break in my supply line to the house and getting the end of the pipes to stay dry was a bit frustrating. I got it down to almost nothing but never totally dry. This stuff did the job. Works really well. I was working outside but caught a whiff of the cement now and then. Make sure you ventilate properly.
