Could not tighten enough to seal a 3" pipe
Would Not RecommendCould not tighten enough to seal off a 3" pipe. We have a garage floor drain that seems to be clogged where I can't reach it with my auger. As a temporary fix I bought this test plug and I tighten the wingnut until I cannot force it any further and it can slip in and out of the pipe without any problem. Useless, unless I wrap it with tape or something.

Would RecommendI had no idea you could get a cap for a plumbed line in the basement to reduce the funky odor that comes from below. I asked a clerk at Lowes if he'd recommend anything and he led me to this handy product. Sometimes it really is the small things! This little item made a BIG difference in my basement. And it locks in tight so my dogs can't drop tennis balls where they shouldn't go! Super happy with this!
