Would Not RecommendThis product is a liability. It has a thin breakable edge that will break and collapse and the cover will end up lodged in your sewer waste clean out. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT it will cost thousands to retrieve it from your sewer line.

Would RecommendThese plugs are great, you can tighten them up very tight as the wing nut is large and the backing plate that clamps the lower portion is excellent. I feel the product is well constructed and I own a few of these for various projects I have done.

Would RecommendThis product would have worked well for PVC as it was made for that. However it did not end up being the perfect fit since we have old galvanized steel plumbing. We made it work by using this to cap it and taping it to the pipe.

Would RecommendProduct works well, but it’s unfortunate that they don’t use stainless steel hardware. The product finds itself in moisture and the current hardware rusts.
Made it smaller
Would RecommendI shaved this down to fit in the top hole of an two-bowl drain setup. Probably about 1 1/4 inch in diameter after I was done. Working fine.

Would RecommendGood plug, butt from experience I am torn to believe you may need lube on the o-ring. Another piece of advice if you are administering this plug to your pipe or any other type of gray or black water orifice is that it is important to not fiddle with the wing nuts near the front of the plug to much. Doing this excessively can cause a premature failure of the plug expelling the contents. Overall I recommend this device to anyone who needs a low maintenance plug of this type.
