I think bugs feed off of this stuff, at least, that's what my lawn looks like. Did absolutely no good.

helps control bugs for sure

Seems to work well. I have been using for years. If I do not use it often I can really tell that it needs to be done as ants and othe creatures will show up. Tried others price sells me on it.

waste of money, didn't work

called Ortho, told them this was 2nd time I applied their procuct, all they could say is they didn't know why it didn't work. In the meantime my lawn is being eaten by worms, and now I can't replant until next year. they said they would send me a refund.

cinch bugs

I had cinch bugs al over the lawn. I do not see any where this was applied but I do have to spray the garden area. ot sure if they just moved to an untreated area. I had applied this in April too. It only lasts 4 months.

Great Product

This product, like most Scott's products, really works . The product does exactly what it's supposed to do. Kill pests. I was having a problem with grass moths(sod worms) and one application solved the problem. I will continue to use this product as a preventative part of my lawn care.

USED IT AND NOW WAITING FOR RESULTS. I HAVE USED ORTHO PRODUCTS IN THE PAST AND I DO GET RESULTS.

Better than the rest!

I always use the Ortho insect repellent products. I have tried the others, mainly because of price, b ut I have found that you get what you pay for. The Ortho products do exactly as promised. Well worth the money. I live right next to the woods, so I have a multitude of insects that like to visit. Since I have been using the Ortho Max, I have not had problems with mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, ants or grubs. And this time of year, crickets. Chinch Bug program

The Ortho granules spread easily. This is a pyrethroid, which gives me a rotation chemical with the Bayer Complete, which is an imidacloprid. Alternating these two every application or two applications gives me Chinch Bug control without them developing a resistance. The Bayer granules are the best spreading (no dust and uniform), but Ortho is a close second.

Not true as stated

The product states "SEASON LONG CONTROL". I did not find this to be a true statement. Insects returned after about six weeks.

Bugs R still here

The ants just kept on going and going. It didn't kill them.

Used the entire 20 lb bag for a .18 acre yard that had a lot of spittlebugs, spiders, crickets, and frogs. After 1-2 weeks, I haven't seen much improvement. All the aforementioned insects are still all over the yard. Prehaps there is a minor improvement, but not a whole lot.

Product did not cure the problem.

Applied as directed but moth problem was not effected.

do not waste your money!

We used this product to rid the yard of chiggers and followed the directions completely and it did absolutely nothing and we have still got chigger problems.... will be getting our money back!!!!

The only kind I buy. Works great on ants,fleas,and ticks.
