Would RecommendThe latch is very secure and the hinges being spring loaded are wonderful. Word of caution, be careful that you do not lock yourself in the enclosure. The gate will close very quick and the latch locks automatically. I speak from experience.

Would RecommendThe self close feature is why I bought them. I like that the tension on the spring is adjustable. I hope they are somewhat resistant to weather, as they are on a gate on the deck. The hardware pack was sufficient to attach the hinges, though I substituted longer screws for fear the supplied screws would pull out of the treated boards.
