Router initially was great but mother board failed

Despite the AC1750 was protected by a surge protector with input also from a fiber optic line; the router w/o warning failed completely and could not be made useable again.

Fast wifi

Since we upgrade to a newer night hawk net gear our wifi for our point of sale is now faster as well as all our supporting computerized devices in our small business.

Good coverage solid LAN.

It is our home Wi-Fi and network router connected to an Arris DG3450 to provide our internet WAN connection to nine hard wired PC's, cell phones, and TIVOs. Rock solid, over 1 Gig connections, hums along no blips or connectivity issues.

This is a great router powerful goes from one in of the house to the other i used to have to use two now i can use one router.

My previous router stopped working because it was no longer able to support the modem we had using satellite cable. I needed something that supported the latest technology and this modem did the job...

We’ve been using this router for a while now with no issues. It’s been great, couldn’t ask for more!

Good but missing features

My last Asus router just went out, so I switched to this one. I miss the ability to block certain websites in the app. Netgear wants me to sign in to circle and pay a subscription to get a feature that is free with Asus ☹️. That being said, this router seems to be a little more powerful and cover my home better than my previous one.

Reliable and good coverage

So got this router all setup now and have been using it for about 2 weeks now. The range and the connection quality have been great. I have been using the wireless 5g and have had no issues. Getting the throughput that I was expecting of the device and I have 24 devices connected at the moment and it is not having any issues. I would recommend this device if you are setting up a small wireless network in your home.

Easy setup, fast performance

Setup was easy using the app and the QR code, even customization of the network names and passwords. Performance has been excellent. Would recommend this equipment unconditionally

NETGEAR AC1750 Smart WiFi Router (R6400v2)

This router is not for someone looking for a plug and play setup, I work as a network administrator and personally after updating the firmware I had to set my settings 5 or 6 times, while also factory resetting it 3 times to get my settings to finally stick.

Useful admin tools

Support couldn't identify my problem-- I discovered firmware update *requires* one to download and use the mobile app to restore http access to admin pages from a desktop chrome browser. 4 stars.

Confusing setup but great

Confusing to download an app just to get the router setup, but otherwise a great product

My second Netgear Router

It toggles easily between wifi and ethernet connectivity. Routers that leave the Wifi on all the time keep me from sleeping deeply.

This is my second Netgear router in many years. I am elder and not tech savy and this was the easiest set up I've ever done. Very pleased with the product.
