Decent water tester

Affordable complete water tester. Some of the tests were just explaining what to look for / smell for, which could be easily read on the internet. I also wish the hardness test had smaller fidelity. But there were plenty of other tests that went well and are explained well.

I got the results I needed immediately. The bacteria test takes 48hours and that beats the wait time for results from a lab. That's pretty instant to me!

Not Instant!

Be aware, the total Coliform test requires 48 hours for results, despite the front of the package reading "immediate results".

The instructions were easy to follow. Luckily my water tested as safe so I feel good about that.

Did what it said it would

The product provides simple to do tests for some of the main concerns about your water. The test results were easy to determine. My only desire would be a slightly more detailed result like with the pH which goes from one whole number to another. No half marks. But for this price, heh, it lets you know enough to either drink the water or buy a filter.

Comprehensive test.

It was this $28 dollar test vs the $185 dollar lab test. After looking at what each checked, hmmm, this was a no brained. If I saw a problem I could always have the lab test done. More than satisfied. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Water Test Kit

I use this product each year, after I change my UV bulb, to test my well water for coliform bacteria. I do the other tests that come with the kit as well since they are part of the kit. Very happy with this product and I highly recommend this product if you need to test water. It is much less expensive than the $140 I previously paid for a testing service to come out get a sample and send it to a lab.

Recommend with a couple of "gotchas"

After recent issues with our well line and the install of a new pump we have taken our water for testing but given some immediate issues with a bad odor in the water, decided to pick up this test kit. Overall was helpful but be aware that several of the tests (iron bacteria and hydrogen sulfide tests) are basically either "smell the water" or "look for sediment" and are not really tests in the kit but merely instructions. Easy to use, is it worth it though?

Bought this test earlier today. Came home and used it. Very easy to use as long as you follow the instructions. The first tests were fine, however the one main test, lead didn’t show anything so it’s inconclusive results. So what does that mean? I spent $30 to help me make the decision on whether or not to invest in a water filtration system but didn’t get any lead results. This seems to be common now that I’ve reviews the reviews. Easy to use and understand

Purchased to run some tests prior to investing in a water filtration system. Test was very easy to use, just follow the included instructions. Felt like a quick science exercise from middle or high school. The kit came with one Lead test, two iron test, two copper tests, two six tests, and a couple bacteria/pestscides,etc tests with a pill.
