Horrible heat and plating comes off.
Would Not RecommendWe bought two in hopes that the copper color would brighten up the normal red color. The plating turned spotty ( not oxidation) and the metal was so hot,birds would not give it a second try. I’ve had hummers for decades.... this was junk. We threw them away and wasted the $30.00 .

Leaks at base!
Would Not RecommendPurchased two of these copper feeders as a deterrent for squirrels chewing plastic models. Seem to be well made and are attractive but both feeders leak at the base. The base, which is actually copper on the top and plastic on the bottom, leaks no matter how much I tighten the seal. Disappointing.

Would RecommendThis is the hummingbird feeder for you. It is made of copper and has a detachable glass reservoir which is really easy to clean. We just love watching the birds land on a built in perch and drink away. This one is the best we ever owned. Stay away from the plastic ones due to mold that grows rapidly at the plastic base and could harbor dangerous mold, fungus, and bacteria.
