The remote is very handy and fun to change the colors. My youngest boy uses these lights as a night light and loves to change colors every night. The only thing I do not like is that they are to light and do not like to stand up.

They give off just enough light, but at the same time not taking away from the TV. My only complaint is that you have to be inches away from them to actually use the remote it comes with to change the color or function

You can change a variety of colors and settings super nice lighting while watching a movie of gaming on a computer.
