It gets quite a bit of foot traffic where it is situated, and so I love the fact it is machine washable and can even be dried in the tumble dryer when necessary. This has the rubber backing so it doesnt slip and slide thats a big plus in my home I have older pets and this gives them the strength to stand as well as looking comfortable laying down on it. Thick and Plush
