The rug doesn't show any wear even in the traffic lanes or in front of a much-used chair. Love it. I don't use a pad with it and I like the flat hard-surface feel of that. I can't find anything negative about the looks or wear of the rug. Am thinking of getting a smaller size of the same rug for my kitchen sink and back door entry areas.
