How do I contact Mohawk? The smell is horrendous
Would Not RecommendI need to return the rug pad.. the smell has completely taken over our home.. it smells like burning rubber. The smell permeates through the entire home, which is a considerable size. How do I contact Mohawk?.. we will have to return this. I read the reviews that stated that this issue has been resolved in their products. In our situation it has not. The rug pad is still folded as we did not want to containment our rug. I'm very disappointed.

Petroleum Odor
Would Not RecommendWe purchased two of these rug pads in January 2025. Each one had an initial odor that we thought would dissipate, but instead it got worse until it overwhelmed our house. The petroleum/chemical smell was too strong to live with. Do not recommend, but maybe it was just a bad batch.

Good on hard floor, not as good on carpet
I used 8X10 to put fake persian rug, thin, on thin cut pile carpet on slab. It helps a lot, but the rug still slides, even with furniture on 2 edges and very little walking. Under small rug on linoleum it works very well - this may have much to do with the backings on the 2 rugs. I may use carpet glue on the big one, along with this pad which is worth the money.
