Very quiet and easy install

I had to replace the original disposal that came with our home when it was built. The install was easy. I didn't even bust any knuckles or hit my head on the sink! When it came time to test it, I turned on the water, no leaks! I flipped the switch and it came on and it was so quiet.much more quiet then the old one. It works great!

Great garbage disposal

I bought this garbage disposal last weekend. The install was very easy and straight forward. I was able to do it myself. This was my first Moen garbage disposal. I replaced an old 7 year old Insinkerator that was leaking from the bottom of the unit. I wasn't too certain about changing brands but I thought I would give it a try since the Moen was an upgrade and the cost was super affordable. I am not disappointed. I totally recommend it.

Easy to install

Lightweight easy to install, it comes with a small tool to keep the metal O ring open to ensure it, I use the jack of my car to hold it while securing the O ring.

Great Garbarge Disposal

I just had my new disposal installed (I couldn't do it myself) and it works perfectly!

Lasted a few months

I purchased this to replace my old disposal and I wish I would have spent the extra money and bought a better brand. This disposal was very loud and rattled the entire sink and counter with the tiniest bit of food scraps. Today (about 4 months after buying it) i turned it on and it buzzed and shut down. The unit will not turn back on even after pushing the little red button and cleaning it out (it had nothing in it). I cannot find the receipt so I guess I’m out of luck?

Looks to be built well but loud on startup

This seems to be a good product looks build better than my previous model. When you first turn it on it makes a loud ping noise that my last badger 100 didn’t have. It’s somewhat disappointing seeing as how I purchased this Item because it was supposed to be quieter than the entry level models. I’m afraid to use it while my baby is sleeping.

Quiet and lightweight

Made the purchase after several reviews of other products and comparing. Glad I bought the one with the ring installation tool, made quick work of getting the ring on. The hardest part was getting the disposal to attach to the mounting flange, but is not the fault of the disposal. I'm sure people who install on regular basis know a few tricks, also the disposal is very lite, so wasn't that bad holding it up, to get it attached. Good Looking Disposal

Love the sleek appearance of the EX50C Moen Disposal. Easy installation. Comes with factory installed power cord. High speed motor is relatively quiet. One minor concern, wish the black rubber drain strainer was a bit more robust.
