it's just a garbage disposal

I've installed many disposals so this one was no challenge. The one thing I noticed immediately was it's light weight. The worst part to installing a disposal is holding it in place while trying to mount it to the sink, that part was much easier with Moens disposal. The motor seemed quiet enough, time will tell after more usage. Time will tell about durability. Features? You turn it on, it grinds your sink waste. it is fairly quiet. Quiet. Simple to install

Picked this up to replace a badger. Much quieter, super simple to install using existing hardware So far so good

Quieter than my previous disposal

This Moen disposal replaced a 25 year old Insinkerator/Badger model that rusted to pieces inside, and it does the job just fine so far, and is considerably quieter. The warranty coverage is longer than similar Badger disposals, definitely a plus. However, my one irritation with this product is that the serial number needed to register for that warranty is located in nearly the worst place to try to read once the disposal is installed, on the BOTTOM of it. Moen Garbage Disposal

Reliable product Easy to install and would recommend this product to others.

Initial noise level is high

Even though the ‘running’ noise level of the disposal is quiet, and what I expected for this model, the spinning metal pieces inside that help chew up material make a very loud ‘click’ when the motor starts. It’s much louder than other units I’m used to during that initial second of operation. Otherwise this unit is great and a good value.

Teh disposal works really well and I really liked that th erubber strainer can be removed and cleaned easily. It also makes it ieasier to unjam things in the sink.

I like the tool included.

I like the little ring installation tool provided. I didn’t have to fight to install the the metal ring. With the tool that was included I was able to get it installed the first try. :) I also like the easy pop out plug to connect the dishwasher. I always hated hammering the knock out in the competition product. Loved the fact that it already comes with an electric cord, although I wish it was 12” longer. Thanks MOEN team!! Rodrigo

Easy install, runs flawlessly

I bought the Moen garbage disposer about a month ago and installed it myself. Instructions are easy to follow. Old unit out and new unit in in under an hour. No issues within the short amount of time I have been using it.

Easy install.

The only drawback to this unit.....no fixture or wrench to clear jambs. Must clear from top side. Figured 1/2 horse unit would have an Allen wrench and access to unit from underside.

Great design

I purchased this recently and I have been impressed with the quality of the garbage disposal. You can see the attention to detail in the design.

Quieter than my badger.

This replaced my badger that failed after almost ten years of service. For the same price it has a longer warranty, makes less noise and was easier to install. Win, win win!
