Moen original part is the best
Would RecommendThe aftermarket part that was on the knob broke and didn't even know it was a cheeper product until I pulled it off and the faucet was a Moe and got the right knob for it, installed it and works and hold up fine. Looks better as well.

Would Not RecommendI replaced this shower knob. It lasted two weeks before it cracked! I will be returning it to Lowes. I am trying a generic version, item 297418. It is half price of the Moen knob; however, you will have to remove the deterrent that stops the shower knob at the correct shut off position. A minor inconvenience if this knob works.

Decorated shower handle
Would RecommendMoen needs to do a better job of detailing which handle is in package. Some models have a complete circle inside fixture, while others have a notch in circle. When making the first purchase I wondered why almost the whole rack had opened packages marked damaged/returned. After getting the package home and trying to install it I knew why. Item was damaged, but simply not the right model.

Too weak neck
Would Not RecommendThe neck on this knob keeps breaking frequently. I have replaced 4 knobs already n finally figured out a solution to this problem. I sleeved the neck on the knob with a half inch copper coupling to strengthen it. So far so good.
