Very easy to use. Fool proof.

Disappointed in product

I am in the process of finishing cabinets, I have put 2 coats on them and am not happy at all. I am not getting the finish I am trying to achieve. Almost 2o years ago I used the same product or so I am being told from the store in which I purchased this product. I am using now the premium oil fast drying polyurethane warm semi gloss and before I used the fast-drying polyurethane superior durability clear semi- gloss. What I am trying to figure out has the product changed that much?

Dries fast and covers well

I bought this Polly about a week ago and it worked great. I used it to repaint my Jeep air cleaner. It dries fast and covers very well. I do think it’s a little expensive for a rattle can Polly, but it does the job. Highly recommend for your small paint jobs.

Worked gresst

Worked great for my project. I was modifying an existing cabinet & the satin finish matched the existing perfectly.

One time use

Pressed the spray can button, it started spraying and then it could not stop. It just kept spraying, without me pressing the button, until it ran out. Do not recommend. Will not be buying this product again.

I liked the ease of using the product, however, it does not coat any easier than using a brush.

For smaller projects this is probably good

The coverage listed is not realistic. Consider how much material is lost when you make a spray stroke off the edge of the material, which is part of the process. It will happen. When spraying the top of a table, the can stops spraying after a very short time. Making it necessary to tilt the table top on its edge to be able to make full spray patterns across the entire top. It’s 2025, this should not be a problem anymore.

Halloween in July Sucks!

Product sprays well. But its mid-July and Lowes already has all their Halloween decoration up for sale. Their $$ commercialism just sucks. I'll go back to Home Depo, at least they didn't have there Halloween stuff up yesterday. Maybe HD will even wait for August 1st!

Great porduct

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Minwax polyurethane. We build log furniture and always love giving that bare wood a nice coats that brings out the beauty of the wood. It's like watching candy being handmade. It's just so satisfying. We have been using Minwax for 25+ years and love their line of stains and polyurethanes. You can't go wrong.

can drips, sprayer is terrible

I bought 2 cans of this. The first can dripped no matter what I did. The second can dripped as well, and continued to spray for a solid minute after I stopped pressing it. Terrible, terrible product. I got a spray can for easier application, and still had to use a brush to smooth out all the drips on my project.
