Great Radios with USB Charging and Range!

I bought these radios for family road trips where cell signal is somewhat unreliable. These radios provide usb charging, great range between vehicles and privacy channels that allow clear transmissions between radios without any outside interference.

Long Lasting Battery

We use from 15 to 20 of these radios about 8 hours each day. They hold up very well and are the most reliable of all the Midland radios that we have used over the years for our business. In my initial review I mentioned that the battery had a short life. Well in fact, the battery is great. The problem is that the radio charges the batter very rapidly. Great range and intuitive buttons

The X-Talker T7-1VP3 2-Radio set was perfect for my husband and I to use in conjunction with the X-Talker Walkie- Talkie 4-Pack. Between us and 4 kids, we all had radios to use on a recent camping trip. I took the radio on a hike, and it was great to touch base with my husband who was still at the beach, in addition to keeping track of the kids on bike rides in the Refuge and at the campground. Great quality for the price

We utilize these radios for our beachfront hotel. They work well, charge quickly and last a long time. For the most part they send a good/clear signal.

Even better than before

I have 6 of the gxt1000 and now I have 6 of the new x-talker radios and have to say I like the features in the new radio. The usb charging is great, the louder volume with the hand mic and the battery charge speeds are all improved and make radio even better than before. We use them for team mountain bike rides in challenging terrain and get great range and clarity that helps keep our team safe.

Worthy compromise

This 3AA model fills the smaller form factor niche, while pairing well with the features and controls of my GTX1000 series units. I much prefer the AA to AAA models for total mAh capacity.

1 mile maximum actual range

I live on a huge hill and cannot hear my son when he has over 1 mile away from my house in an urban environment

Great Radios

I bought these to use in my Jeep club while off-road. Let me tell you that these radios work great. The range is a lot more than the cb’s that we have been using.

Happy

I got these for my personal use at work and now they want to use them for everyone. Glad I got them.

Good except in rain

Works well, but had issues with it working once it started to rain. One of the headsets was stuck "on" and would not turn off.

Excellent Performance

I have had my model for going on 3 years now. The battery life is amazing. I have had excellent range in heavily wooded areas and incredible range over long unobstructed distances like fields and roadways. Built tough and to last working in the real world mine have been dropped and they held up to the kids playing with them at campgrounds. I intend to pair it with the micro mobile radio that I see offered now as a package.

Awesome Radios

They work perfectly as they said they would. No issues and they are very clear.

Extremely short range

I bought a pair of these for use on my farm. I like the features and sturdy design, but the range on these is ridiculously short. These can't reach 1/2 mile from the house on a hill even over pastures. I tried in several areas over various terrain, and multiple channels including GMRS channels. They'll never do 36 miles, but I certainly expected to get 2-3 miles in a rural area.

Durable, Clear Transmission, and Good Range

I use these to speak from vehicle to vehicle in the MOAB Desert. We have not cell service so these are essential!

Midland goes to missionaries in Honduras

We bought these for use by missionary teams in Honduras, The ranges will make it east for teams to communicate. Midland was our choice for ease of use and reliability.

Great Prouduct overall

I have had Midland CB radios before and never had any problems at all, still have one that is more then 20 years and still working great. And with the new handhelds I just got I'm sure will get the same great performance and the cost was a great price.

Good Radio

I have an outdoor business with 12-15 workers every day using this radio. The radio is very reliable and has better range compared to the other two way radios that Midland has. However, it was advertised as having a battery that lasts 12 hours. Many of the batteries do not last 8 hours. The other radios that Midland has lasted longer. The problem seems to be that the battery does not have enough capacity. I keep replacing batteries and some last longer and others do not.

Top Quality Radio

Solid set of radios. Feel durable in your hand. Use them to communicate between the cabin and barn as we have no cell service at our retreat.

Great clarity

Great voice clarity and quality. I use this for hiking and skiing.
