I bought this and it always was searching for channels like I lived in a remote place I live close to a major city and live in a small city. And it kept beeping like there was an emergency but there wasn't , it was a beautiful day. I definitely would not recommend

I love my Midland Weather Radio. I’ve had it for many years. If I ever have a question I just reach out to the his folks. I keep the manual under the radio so I always know where it is. I make sure that I hear the test alert every Wednesday at 11 am. This is my assurance that it is working !. I feel safer having radio in my home! When my niece went to college in OK, I bought 1 for her to have in her apartment.

It works. The only stupid thing is that if u hit it too or shake it too hard when the wire is disconnected, the radio will cease to function because the batteries are dislodge. then u will be without lifesaving information and die in a tornado
