Boondocking in Remote Areas
Would RecommendI am totally amazed at the long range of these radios. I now have 3 MXT500 radios; 1 in my truck, 1 in my side-by-side, and 1 in my 5th wheel RV. When boondocking in the San Rafael swell in central Utah where there is no cell coverage, while out on a trail ride over 20 miles from my RV, I was able to have clear communication between my side-by-side and my RV. Now my friends who go camping with us are planning on installing the same radios in their rigs.

Sweet radio
Would RecommendPretty simple install. Turns on, turns off, able to speak and listen. Not sure what else to expect as this is my first one, but there is positive improved difference in the antenna that comes with it and the 6db one.

Does not disapoint
Would RecommendIve been testing its features and it has yet to dissapoint. Everything is as advertised. All i need to do is test its ip66 rating, im going to throw it in my pool this afternoon :)
