Expensive but you get what you pay for

So far so good. Not gotten to the heat of summer yet, but it seems to work very well and was easy to install/set up. I like the dual hose, and has plenty of material to insulate where it fits into the window. Overall, definitely pleased with what I’ve received.

Weird sounds, but really efficient

Makes a weird squeak sound when is goes into heat mode, can point it a specific direction. It's very efficient and quiet, cools and heats great.

Air conditioning aspect is great however, there is a huge design flaw with the vent that sends out hot air. Birds are trying to get into it and it is a very annoying thing to deal with. Simple vent over the opening would solve this huge unforseen problem.

Good but get the warranty

Product works well, is quiet, and unlike single hose portable ACs it does not blow air from the room to outside. However, I recommend getting the extended warranty. I've purchased two of these, and both came banged up. One needed to be returned, and for the other I had the manufacturer replace the part (a wheel). Garbage - don’t waste your money

Don’t waste your money - the water drain tray issue as noted by other users is so ridiculous. There’s no accessible tray as mentioned in the manual. The unit jumps like crazy now on startup and shakes constantly - got it because it was quieter than a window unit but now it’s worse. The clips for the window attachments are total garbage too and break so easily.

worked for about 2 years

I kept it clean. Followed all of their instructions, then it just stopped heating and cooling. Will never buy another product made by this company.

Will not heat if exterior temp is below 41 Degrees

I purchased this in July 2025. Worked great for cooling, but when I tried to use for heating it would not turn on. I called customer service and was told that the unit will not turn on if the exterior temp is below 41 degrees. I could not find that notification in the manual, but the rep on the phone said it was. Buy a heating blanket instead of the heat hump.

Cools fine, heats okay until it doesn't. The biggest complaint I have is how difficult it is to service. Getting the panels off feels like I'm going to break something, and that's after I've taken out the ridiculous number of screws. It's unacceptable to need to connect the internal plumbing myself and I am far from the only person who has had that issue. I bought a heating blanket and find it works much better than the heat pump.

Worthless waste of money

Bought this Midea AC and it stopped cooling after 13 months. I only used it about 7 to 8 months total (summer last year and this year). Compressor failed and Midea refused warranty help (it was ONE MONTH outside of warranty) and offered only an out-of-warranty repair referral. Provided proof of purchase and asked for escalation and still no meaningful resolution. Extremely disappointed. Zero help. A waste of 650$ for a product that should’ve lasted 5+ years.

Beast of an AC

This thing is powerful! Yes it is pricy but money well spent in my opinion. It has a very strong fan that pushes the cold air very well. I was surprised that it was able to cool my entire downstairs. Highly recommend.

Awesome AC

This AC is awesome. I have used other portable ACs that did not blow cold air all that well but this one has a powerful fan that pushes the cold air very well. I highly recommend this system.

Excellent Machine

Bought to cool bedroom while central AC was out. Easy to install in vertical and horizontal sash windows. Works great. No problems. Will use as an as-needed supplement during hot spells next summer.

SO disappointed

was so excited to get this unit for the florida summer heat. it worked well for about 9 months, did a great job dehumidifying i got buckets of water from the thing, and it cooled fantastic...now its just barely blowing cold air, its stopped de humidifying, ive searched the net, youtube, this site for any tips on how to fix it....there's none, so disappointing.. now i see they had a recall on a window unit they make... this unit should be recalled and replaced as well...basically should have bou...
