Expensive but you get what you pay for

So far so good. Not gotten to the heat of summer yet, but it seems to work very well and was easy to install/set up. I like the dual hose, and has plenty of material to insulate where it fits into the window. Overall, definitely pleased with what I’ve received.

Weird sounds, but really efficient

Makes a weird squeak sound when is goes into heat mode, can point it a specific direction. It's very efficient and quiet, cools and heats great.

Good but get the warranty

Product works well, is quiet, and unlike single hose portable ACs it does not blow air from the room to outside. However, I recommend getting the extended warranty. I've purchased two of these, and both came banged up. One needed to be returned, and for the other I had the manufacturer replace the part (a wheel). worked for about 2 years

I kept it clean. Followed all of their instructions, then it just stopped heating and cooling. Will never buy another product made by this company.

Will not heat if exterior temp is below 41 Degrees

I purchased this in July 2025. Worked great for cooling, but when I tried to use for heating it would not turn on. I called customer service and was told that the unit will not turn on if the exterior temp is below 41 degrees. I could not find that notification in the manual, but the rep on the phone said it was. TERRIBLE. SHOWED UP DAMAGED. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PURCHASE WAS A GD NIGHTMARE

Works! Convenient! A pain to clean internally!

After two years, it works very well, the app works well most of the time, but I'm now discovering the boggling process required to clean the internal fan of stuck-on dust and lint - the clever engineers forgot that job.

Worthless waste of money

Bought this Midea AC and it stopped cooling after 13 months. I only used it about 7 to 8 months total (summer last year and this year). Compressor failed and Midea refused warranty help (it was ONE MONTH outside of warranty) and offered only an out-of-warranty repair referral. Provided proof of purchase and asked for escalation and still no meaningful resolution. Extremely disappointed. Zero help. A waste of 650$ for a product that should’ve lasted 5+ years.

Beast of an AC

This thing is powerful! Yes it is pricy but money well spent in my opinion. It has a very strong fan that pushes the cold air very well. I was surprised that it was able to cool my entire downstairs. Highly recommend.

Awesome AC

This AC is awesome. I have used other portable ACs that did not blow cold air all that well but this one has a powerful fan that pushes the cold air very well. I highly recommend this system.

Heat with heat pump mode?

The unit cools and heats but nowhere in the specs or manual does it say whether it heats in a heat pump mode or uses electrical heating elements which is inefficient use of energy.

Great cooler

This unit is very quiet and very efficient. My development does not permit window unit A/Cs, but this unit has made them unnecessary.

Midea does not honor thier warranty

I am beyond frustrated with Midea's customer service. I spent a lot of money on their powerful 14K portable AC, which was supposed to have a 2-year warranty. I purchased it on September 12, 2023. When it stopped working in August 2025, a month before the warranty was up, I spent 40 minutes troubleshooting with a rep. What did I get in return? An email telling me the warranty had expired. Good for smaller spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a great product for cooling smaller spaces, that being said I dont feel it could effectively cool the amount of space the package states. It was pretty easy to install in our window. The AC unit isn't as loud as most units are which is always great. It has a cool remote that comes with the batteries and you can also use it from an app on your phone. It came missing the piece that hooks to the drain hose though.

Great AC for small spaces

It takes a couple of minutes for the cool air to kick on but once it does, it is cold! I’m very impressed by how quiet it is. I like the smart features and how energy efficient the AC is. This is perfect for our small shop.

Timer is awesome!
