Would Not RecommendI bought this freezer due to the dimensions and price. I thought it was a good value for the size of the freezer. The temperature dial is the worst, with no indication of colder or warmer, and after 3 days of trying to mess with it to get it cold enough, I never got it to freeze. However because I'm outside the 48 hours, I can't exchange it. Lowes is sending a service technician, which I'm sure will be fruitless. Save yourself the time and hassle, and just pass on this one. Nice size
Would RecommendSmaller size was plus from my upright that finally went out after 17 yrs. I do wish it were frost free. I don't like having to "dig" for items and do miss my upright but just didn't need something so large so I bought this. I did buy freezer baskets to aid in less digging for items which does help. The chest did come with 2 baskets but not sturdy enough for weighty items and the included baskets sit near top of chest.
