I bought it to match my new washer bought in February 2016. I stuck with Maytag because I never had to call anyone out to repair anything on my previous two sets(as each lasted over 15 years). Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace the drum when new as it was tearing clothes. Then I got a error message to clean the lint screen but the tech couldn't find a problem so I called the roofer to clean the lint pipe and it wasn't clogged. A year later I got the same message and the tech said all was well but reset the error codes and I wasted $95.00.Loud, noisy machine.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved to a new house and paired this gas dryer with the Maytag washer of the same line (7100).The pair look great together, but that does't differentiate this dryer from others. The fact that it dries perfectly each time, the time-till-completion estimate that updates shortly after startup is _accurate_ and capacity is more than I can imagine exceeding, even with a king down comforter in the mix.The control panel is simple & easy to use....
