Good basic stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am pleased. this is the first gas stove I have ever owned but have been a Maytag customer for over 40 years. The only negatives are sometimes the electric starter doesn't always work on certain burners and I have to turn it on and off again a couple times and then it starts. Also it scratches super easy...hard to keep clean. not very finger print resistant..

Great even heat cooking stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It heats like it should unlike my old glass top electric. It cooks evenly and easy to operate. Everything works like I think it should. I like the sealed units and ignition/start feature.

LIGHTS LIKE IT GETS TOO MUCH GAS.

We are very pleased with the performance. Extremely pleased with the Price. No regrets making this purchase. We have a large family & a large kitchen with two ranges. One is Electric and this is one Gas. Everyone in the family wants to cook on the Maytag Gas Range.

A little disappointed

If you have a spill it is very difficult to clean up. You must pick up the grates (which are extremely heavy) to clean. Second that whole area below the grates is black, which shows every little piece of rice, splash, etc. I’m constantly wiping & cleaning. Lastly the range drawer is very inexpensively made…it...

The only issues are the "steam-cleaning" really doesn't work at all, and the functions on the display aren't great. For example, you can't switch from the timer to the temperature when baking and you can't adjust the timer without starting over from the beginning. There are some other annoyances as well.
