Great features and overall performance excellent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with my Maytag Gas range, it replaces a Kitchen Aid range that was nine years old. It has many of the same features which are faster and the oven heats much faster. I do miss the convection feature but overall the features and performance are excellent! The oven bakes and broils very well.

Hate the ringer on the timer!

freestanding gas range with steam clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been a pleasure "relearning" how to cook and bake again using this new gas range. I had been using a 15 year old range that, even though it had not been used much, did not have reliable oven temperatures for baking and flame heights on the stove top burners that were too high even when on low. I'm glad I chose to buy new rather than repair the old.

Fantastic Gas Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased oven, has great amenities. Wife loves the low burner for keeping foods at just the right temperature. Middle burner provided for quick heating, for those "need it fast moments." Have not used the steam clean as yet, however reading the instruction, we were impressed with the ease of cleaning.

Frustration

Maybe I’ll get use to this at some point and raise the review but my first few days are concerning. It is great looking I will say that. The bottom drawer is lightweight and cheap. The touch screen buttons have to be pressed hard multiple times to get a response. NO OWNERS MANUAL INCLUDED???? I keep searching on line but can’t find the right one for this model. There is only one full size burner and a great amount of space dedicated to the griddle for some reason. I put the large burner on med...

Love this range!

Ease of use, easy controls, keeps heat inside

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only owned this oven for a week, and it’s already leaps and bounds better than the Criterion oven we had for 6 months. Never but criterion, they are cheap junk at best. This oven is easier to use, cleans and cooks and bakes food better than even the last Maytag oven we had. I guess my father was right, you get what you pay for!!

Works great!

Whos going to install my gas stove?

-5 stars for the product -0 stars for the installation service(s) Its almost 2026. Lowes, as a multi billion dollar company, doesnt have enough common sense to inform the buyer(s) to seek third party license plumber to install their gas stove. You would think that would be the first thing to mention in order to streamline the buying experience. Or atleast offer us the installation service themselves...but they just deliver it. What you expect me to do with my new gas stove? look at it without ...

Don’t buy this range

I bought it in April 2025. It is now November 2025 and the oven won’t hold temperature. The plastic corners are chipped. I really wished I got a different range.

Missing Parts

A big part of the reason I bought this was because it came with the LP conversion kit. It came with the orifices for the burners, but not the oven. We have had the unit for several weeks now and have not been able to use the oven. Neither Maytag or Lowe's will make it right. All they'd have to do is send me a simple little brass peice the size of a thumbnail, but they won't.
