Inexpensive cooling solution

Easy to move around and provides enough cooling power to take the edge off in New England climate.

The cooling and the area it will cover

It appears to be capable of cooling well

It uses up all the water in a few hours and needs.

This fan is using water to add to the cooling effect. It seems to be very capable of cooling down my family room. I do put it on a water proof area of the floor. It works very well to cool things down. We will have to see how effective it is when we get into the hotter days of summer.

fan with mister

thats all it is.a fan with a mister. water runs out within an hour.i stopped using the misting option. now just a fan. water gets everywhere.i had to lay a towel down underneath it. pre soaking the pad does nothing. in fact half of it stays dry.i do not see its purpose. i do not even know how to contact the company. i want my money back.

Perfect for the summer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An absolute must have for the summer! We used this in my daughter’s room. She doesn’t love having the air conditioner on since she tends to get cold easily but this was perfect for her. Kept her room cool without being too cold. It didn’t take up much room at all and it was easy to clean and set up. Extremely user friendly and even my 8 year old knows how to use it herself. Would definitely recommend!

Good for my purpose

Working good for my particular purpose - close to me while I'm rocked back in my gravity chair - will it do some whole room? Have my doubts. And I think it's mainly a misting fan rather than a proper evaporative cooler. Not sure if the filter really does anything. Seems to work the same without it.

Spews water onto the floor

I sent a memo to Maxx Chill on July 3rd voicing my concern. I never heard back. The tower spews water out the front soaking the floor around it with puddles. It's a waste of money and requires daily monitoring.

Short life

Bought it from Lowe’s in Laurel had it two 2 1/2 months will turn or oscillate, but quit blowing air at all. I would run run run away from this product. I had thrown the receipt away. It was gonna take it back but was told I needed the receipt Since I didn’t use my Lowe’s card I asked for just a simple replacement and was told no the product is horrible love Lowes but they failed on this one

the cooler certainly puts out cool air, within a distance of 10 feet

This is for moderate heat situations

It’s ok but mostly for moderate heat situations. Not very powerful and the spray is subtle. You gotta stand right next to it in temps higher than let’s say 90f

Furnace Broken

It works great. The mist option really was a life saver.
