Would RecommendCable lock is easy to use. Strong. Cable willl adjust or slip inwards even after locking but will not back out. Purchased product to secure game camera. Would be nice to have a combination lock model in this style.

Would RecommendIt's actually 8 feet long. Not sure where the mistake was made there, but I was grateful for the extra 2 feet as it was just what I needed. Those who reviewed this product and said that you can pull the cable right out after locking it were partly right, it does come out if you put the cable in the lock through the wrong end! Unfortunately there is no indication as to which direction to insert the cable, but if you put it in as the picture shows, it's not coming out.
Finally a cable lock that goes the distance!
Would RecommendI was really impressed with the engineering of the cable lock and the length of the cable. But, the impressive thing was that it was adjustable to the varied lengths that a person might need to secure an item, or items. I used this for a back up to an office trailer door that had been broken into before, but not since putting this thru the door and the wall adjoining the door to really make it secure.

Would RecommendThese guys below me were definitely using these locks wrong. We bought six of them and my step-dad held the lock and I pulled the cable and it wouldn't budge and I'm not a small guy either. If you have the cable in right and locked correctly you can't pull these locks open. The only bad thing about them is that we couldn't get all six of them with the same key. Would definitely recommend.

Would Not RecommendThe locking mechanism seems flimsy and I was able to pull the cable out. I tried several times to find a working combo of cable length and key turns but was unable to consistently get it to lock tight.

Would Not RecommendDoes not even come close to locking. Can pull the cable out with almost no effort. Extremely surprised and disappointed by Master Lock now. This looks like it is steel or aluminum, but it feels like plastic. The design concept is excellent but the functionality is non-existent. Do not bother with technically non-functional device. Returning it immediately.
