My key broke off inside

The key broke off in the cylinder, terribly flimsy. I would absolutely not recommend this until they address the key issue. Solid lock otherwise.

Very easy to pick open

I bought this lock for lock picking practice. Do not secure anything valuable with this lock. It may be tough against destructive attacks, but someone with a basic pick can open this in under a minute. If you dont believe me, then just type the model number into youtube.

Steel Keyed Padlock

I purchased this keyed padlock for my storage POD. After using it on the second day, the key got stuck into the lock. I was finally able to get it out. The following week it got stuck again and the key broke off into the lock. This lock was expensive too. I had already thrown away the packaging so I didn't go back to Lowes for a refund.

Good solid lock

I needed a good solid lock for a storage unit. This one works very well. No problem opening or closing it.

Durability

This lock is heavy and made of great quality. Probably won't ever buy another lock again

I have purchased this type of lock before. This one is a slight improvement in that it has a sliding cover to cover the key-hole to protect from rain.To me the mat finish is better than a polished one. The drain holes in the frame is a good thing. Only problem is when it is mounted vertical. I solved that by putting a little spot of epoxy on the top hole about 3/8 inch in diameter. Now it can't rain in. The key is unique to my other keys as the hole for a key ring is on the side of the part held...

Master Lock - Excellent Choice

Seems to be a high quality padlock used for a storage unit. The design of the lock also makes it more difficult to cut off.

Works good

Seems to be working fine so far. Well built and looks like it can take a beating. The locking mechanism was a little sticky brand new, so hoping there's no issues down the line.

Great lock!

Heavy duty and durable. Love the key hold cover to protect it from weather. I am using this lock on an outdoor storage unit and it’s prefect.

Great lock

These are great locks. Much easier to open for folks with arthritis

Solid Lock

Great lock at great price. Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5, shackle clearance could be a bit bigger.

When locking it, it has a solid sound of toughness. I like the rubber cover that protects the key opening.

Superlock

Seems super strong with a short length to the retracting bar. The key entry on the front surface leaves that exposed to freezing moisture. I put it upside down so it is awkward unlocking.

Lockit

A great lock at a good price for those that utilize a storage unit for all those extra "never used" items we all accumulate. Nearly impossible to get a lock cutter tool on this baby!

Small Size - Easy to Use

May be Small, but one of the strongest locks you can buy. Wouldn't lock up anything if it was not this type of lock. Love it & don't worry about it being tampered with.

Dependable

Very strong. Could be a little bigger at the opening.
