Sturdy locks

I bought this lock set to replace two locks whose keys were lost. They weren't locked, and next thing you know, we were renting bolt cutters to get into our garage. I like the fact that they are all keyed the same, but it would have been nice to have one key for each lock. Extra spares, y'know!

Easy Acess

Great purchase as I have three gates on my property. I was able to give a key to my mowers which enables them access whenever they mow. I just wish the locks came with more than two keys.

Good Locks

I purchased these for a truck box. These locks are a good size and it's nice that all four of these are keyed alike!

3 out of four ain't good

Got the 4 lock set to secure small gate on the property, 3 out of four worked the last one would not turn ,broke the key and used a bunch of WD 40 to get it of in downpour. They are going back in the morning, I'm spending 3 times the money for an American made set, the only ones I could find with four keys.

Fewer keys than in past years

These lower-cost locks do their job. However, I purchased a pack about three years ago and it came with 8 keys (2 per lock), whereas the August 2013 locks only had 2 keys, so I spent more making the additional keys. Not the value they used to be.

Padlocks

This set of 4 padlocks was purchased because store did not have duplicate key blanks for the key of the original set. The original set of 4 locks only came with a total of 2 keys. One key was left in Massachusetts, the locks are in Maine. So a backup key was needed. The store did not have blanks for this key. The original padlocks were purchased from same store. I use them on my RV tow vehicle and they are perfect.

Four of a kind and worth it

I use these to temporarily secure a tool chest in the back of my pickup Having all four keyed-alike saves time fumbling for keys The plastic covers on them keep the padlocks from scratching up the truck bed. They also have a port to insert a paperclip to open them (in case you get to a site and find you've forgotten the key or you travel and security has to open them to do an inspection).
