Cheap. Doesn’t rotate smoothly. Makes them hard to lock and unlock. Expected better from Master Lock

3rd lock, stuck closed

This is the third Discus lock I've had to cut off because it wouldn't open. The key would begin to turn, but the inner workings just wouldn't move the hasp. They were kept clean, used inside a garage to lock bikes to cables. But over a couple years, I had to dig out the angle grinder and just cut them off. The first one seemed like an anomaly. The second was irritating. The third is a pattern. Not recommended.

Exactly what I needed and there were no flaws in the material of any sort. good workmanship

Packaging nightmare.

The packaging was terrible. I ended up breaking the rubber protective gasket off one of the locks trying to get it out of the package. You need tin snips to open the package. The packaging was completely unnecessary. It was as if the package designer thought, "getting this out of the package should be as hard as breaking into this lock." The lock design was fabulous, but I ended up with only 2 of the 3 b/c the third one was broken.

I'vs used this brand before & trust these locks.

I've used this brand before. I like that it doesn't allow much room for lock cutters. Unfortunately, I was not able to test it out with chain I purchased at same time. Found out after purchase, at home, that lock's bolt and chain link hole are same size. Luckily I had smaller lock to use. Keeping these locks to use in future.
