I have 10 or 12 of these we’ve used in our business over the years. If you’re opening the locks regularly they are great, very reliable. But, no surprise, if you lock something with one of these outdoors and don’t open it for a year or two, you will need to work on the lock with some lube to get it to open and even to see the numbers clearly. Combo locks are great for business when several people need to lock and unlock them.

Padlock Problem

I purchased two padlocks. One set to a new number easily and the second did not work properly and I will have to return it.

Good brand name.

Work fine, easy to set new combo

So far so good with these locks. It was easy to set the new combos. They have held up well in the summer heat. Hoping they hold up in the winter rain.

Not recommended. Poor construction.

I got these locks because they were higher security and didn’t require the little key to set the combo. It was easier to set the locks but the mechanisms are finicky and one lock jammed before I could even use it. You have to leave the lock combo set while closing the lock and then spin away from your combo to “lock” it. If you treat it like one of the lower security locks and spin the combo before closing the clasp it won’t work. I should have just bought the lower security locks.
