Low security rating

I purchased a 1500D dial lock for securing a storage unit. On the package it says it is a hardened steel shackle that is cut resistant. However on the front of the package it gives a security rating of 3 out of 10. That should have been a red flag right away! We received a phone call from the storage facility telling us that the padlock was cut off. Luckily nothing was taken. I will continue to purchase Masterlock products however not this inferior lock. Worked ok for a couple times.

I think I got a dud. Worked 5-10 times then sporadically worked. Just enough to make you think you don't how to open a lock.

Pretty standard lock

The combination dial is easy to turn and the lock itself does not stick or come unlocked when being tugged on. Works well if you are looking for a typical padlock.

Super Durable Lock!

I use this lock when I go to the gym so I can store my personal belongings in a locker without worrying about it going missing. I prefer combination locks so I’m not carrying around a key and possibly lose it. Definitely recommend!

I get so worried about it not opening that I stopped using it. It def works by locking stuff up, just doesn’t wanna unlock most the time and that blows
