Would RecommendA major factor in using a grout bag is mixing the grout correctly. I mixed the cement grout using fine sand to the consistency of cake frosting. I used a drill with a paint mixer attachment to ensure that the grout was evenly and completely mixed. I sprayed water on the cleaned brick/stone gaps and then filled the gaps from top down along the back of the gap first. Would RecommendI used this bag with mortar to fill-in around anew mail box that was a replacement that was enclosed in a brick surround. Had to overly thin out the mortar and cut a small amount off the spout end. Am positive that it would be perfect for grout just the way it was sold.

Would RecommendThis grout bag is very durable but your grout needs to be on the wet side to flow easily through the bag. We also cut a slightly larger hole on the tip than what it was designed with.
