Would Not RecommendAs another reviewer stated, after watching the Magnolia video, I was under the impression this wax was much more fluid and not at all like it was when I received it. It was thick and pasty, more like a shoe polish and for me, very difficult to use. And as another reviewer stated, the directions were not very good, so I applied with a brush and I found due to the pasty consistency of the wax, it made the application very inconsistent. Easy to use
Would RecommendThis clear wax was so easy to apply to my piece of furniture with a clean and lint-free white cloth. It was also just as easy to buff off with the same type of cloth.

Hard Paste Texture - Not Creamy
Would Not RecommendI painted some bedroom furniture with Magnolia Chalk Paint and the pieces came out very good. I bought the dark wax to provide additional highlighting based upon the videos and product labeling that showed a creamy texture for the wax. Instead, the product was harder than regular paste wax and was very ineffective when applied. Perhaps this has something to do with how long the product sat in a warehouse or on the shelf at Lowes, but it was a waste of $26.

Left Streaks and Uneven Finish
Would Not RecommendIâve spent hours redoing a dresser with Magnolia homes chalk paint. I decided to use the Clear Wax since there are so many great review. No matter how much I buffed the product, it left streaks and overall uneven finish. I like how it enhanced the color but Iâm having to sand off the first layer of paint and repaint this drawer.
