Replacement cover old one had some cracks placed new one over the okd one

Disappointed

Had to go to Lowes in another county. When I got home noticed this curbside pickup item was slightly damaged. I did not want to drive that far to return it and it was needed for upcoming bad weather. Since it was usable, I kept it but wondered why my order was sent to another Lowes and not my local one. I will never order by internet again from Lowes.

Don't buy it!!!

This is a terrible product. It is very brittle and breaks at the slightest touch. I had an older one that finaly broke after about 5 years but I don't think this one will last the winter.

Easy to install

Bought this to keep the leaves out of the window well. Didn't fit exactly but I was able to get the clips to work and no more leaves!

Cover is a sturdy plastic and measurements matched description.

Hardware included

bought wrong size so its to short for my window wells. This brand comes with hardware where others did not so I took the chance it would work for my house.

Suggest medium duty only.

Likes: Easy to install, good fit, tapered properly to shed water. Dislike: Does not appear to be made of a strong enough material - it is very flimsy. Not sure this will make it through the cold weather.

Nice looking but become brittle after a year.

Well cover is made with plastic that photo-oxidizes in sunlight and becomes brittle within a year. This makes the well cover susceptible to breakage from bumping (e.g. with lawn mower wheel) or from marble-size and larger hail. McCourt needs to upgrade their plastic formula so it is more durable. Otherwise, the well covers are attractive and fit nicely. Just expect to replace them frequently.

Say it with me *CLAP*…BRITTLE!!!…Say it with me *CLAP*…CHEAP!!!…SAY IT AGAIN…*CLAP*…BRITTLE AND CHEAP!!! Don’t drop it. Don’t touch it. Don’t breath on it. Don’t even so much as look at it. IT WILL CRACK!!!!!! Horrible product!

I liked the clips that are fit on the cover. They hold the unit in place well and are easy to install. I didn't care for the instructions. They suggest that you take a sludge hammer to the window well to fit the covers. This is wrong. You could destroy the wells. Your best bet is to trim the covers to fit with tin snips.

I usually buy things in the store. I bought three small we’ll be at from the store. They were great. I thought this would be the same, NOT!! I will make it do, I hope but learned a lesson. I have spent over $20,000 or more in the past 8 months Thanks
