This is also known as part # 490-327-0002. I believe the "0002" is for a "two ply" tire as the "0004" # tires are more expensive and have 4 plys. I bought a pair of these vs. replacing another tube in one of my old tires. Bought them from Lowe's for convenience, but could have bought online a little cheaper and waited for them. These have what Arnold Parts refers to as the "Double-D" hub. I had a hard time looking at tires online with labels over the hub to see if they may fit my old (1998)...

I had to switch rims from my John Deere tires.

These are universal tires but did not fit my mower until I had the rims swapped. The tires are great but customers will need to be aware. I took the tires to a local tire shop and they switched the rims in 10 minutes.

I needed a new rear tire for my Cub Cadet tractor b/c of a flat. This was the same price that I could get an unmounted Carlisle tire for. I just took the old one off and put the new one on. Simple and fast. No hassle of going to the tire store for them to take the old one off and mount the new one.

Good if wheel fits

Wheel didnt fit my mower so i had to take tires off and put on my old wheels. If you had the exact wheel you would have a good deal but cost me too much. Tires are good.

20-in Rear Wheel for Riding Lawn Mower

Purchased two online for my Craftsman mower. Before ordering I used the online chat customer service to make sure they would fit my mower and was for mowers with a 3/4" keyed shaft and was told that they were indeed 3/4" keyed and would fit. Wrong! Would not have been a big deal but had to drive 20 miles to return them. The description for these are terrible, even the picture has the shaft hole covered up so you couldn't even go by that. I see others are confused by these and wonder why the axle...

Great buy for 20 X 8.00 ONLY

We were told this tire, made by MTD, was a fit for our Cub Cadet, which takes a 20 X 9.00 X 8 tire only, and of course the 4 lug nut holes in the rim. We wish ours WOULD take this 20 X 8.00 size, since this is so much better a buy. But it's back to the manufacturer for the tire and rim that cost more than 3 times as much!

Not correct one

Lowes sold this but should have noted that it does not fit husqvarna mowers. It fits other makes sold by Lowes but not for the mower i purchased from Lowes(Husqvarna). This wasted my time, please note this for future Reference. The Manager in charge of mower parts should have known better. The label says it fits Mowers with that tire size. This is misleading.

Can't beat the price for the tire alone - this one comes mounted on the wheel for my MTD lawn mower. While I am reluctant to give top ratings for a product that I haven't used for a while, it appears well made and I have no doubt that I will get years of satisfactory service from it. That it comes,pre-inflated and mounted on the wheel saved time and money. Only a few bucks saved in not having to get it mounted at a tire shop, but I would have spent a couple of hours trying to do it myself befor...

If you need a tire great, however, the wheel is not universal so every time I need a tire for my mower that I bought at Lowe's I end up having to purchase this and then take the wheel and this item to Discount Tire and ask them to switch it for me. Once they switch it works great.

These are great Carlisle tires, and they are already on a nice new rim, so it made things much easier. The price cannot, I repeat, CANNOT be beat! I looked around locally and nearly purchased a set without the rim, which was the best price, UNTIL I found these at Lowes.com. I actually SAVED about $5.00 each tire, plus any additional cost of having some place put the tires on the rims for me. Fantastic deal! Ordering through Lowes.com for store pick-up... not so much and I don't think I'll be do...

I wish ad copy could have more detail. I found what seems to be the same product elsewhere that says the following: "MTD® Tractor Wheel Replacement Tire fits lawn tractors with 20 in. x 8 in. rear wheels for Troy-Bilt, MTD, MTD Gold, Bolens, White Outdoor, Huskee, Yard Machines and Yard-Man. Grey rim with tubeless turf-saver tread tire." I hope this takes some of the mystery away about what it fits. It won't fit my lawn tractor (Husqvarna) bought at Lowes. I wish there was an equivalent, but app...

Was told it would work on my Husquvarna riding lawn mower I purchased from Lowe's. Nope, it didn't. The hub in the wheel is different than the one on my mower

I Wish Everything Else Was This Easy

These were a direct replacement for the wheels on my 2006 Troy Bilt lawn tractor. I opted for the pre-mounted tire& wheel option after first considering trying replace the tires on the existing rim and deciding that I just plain didn't want the hassle and also seeing after doing some homework that the unmounted tires alone were not enough cheaper to make it a worthwhile option. I'm glad I did. A 1/2" socket, a floor jack and fifteen minutes of my time were all it took to get the old wheels off...
